Got pelvic effusion, what should be done in terms of nursing care?

Patient's question:

It's been almost a year since I got sick, but I haven't recovered yet. What should I do about pelvic effusion?

Doctor's answer:

Pelvic effusion, there are two types: physiological and pathological.
1. Physiological pelvic effusion: Some normal women may have a small amount of blood accumulated in the pelvic cavity during the menstrual period, ovulation period, and early pregnancy, forming pelvic effusion. Such pelvic effusion usually contains a small amount of fluid, which gradually absorbs and often naturally disappears.
2. Pathological pelvic effusion: Pathological pelvic effusion in gynecology is mostly caused by pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, or endometriosis. In clinical diagnosis, pelvic effusion in most women is due to inflammation, where inflammatory exudates are present in the pelvic cavity. If left untreated, it can gradually increase. If it becomes too large, medication becomes difficult to eliminate.
