We have provided detailed explanations on neonatal birth injuries, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, infantile intussusception, hematuria, cerebral palsy, pediatric AIDS, Wilson's disease, and critical care techniques, striving to achieve the effect of "precision, practicality, and novelty" in the textbook's content. The section on medical record writing is systematically described in accordance with the "Basic Standards for Medical Record Writing" promulgated by the Ministry of Health in August 2002. The textbook strives to ensure the safety and accuracy of the treatment principles and measures, drug dosages and methods, and calculation formulas for diseases. The demands for children's health in the new century are becoming increasingly high, giving health a new connotation—that is, health not only refers to the absence of physical illness but also includes being in a completely good state of mental, psychological, behavioral, and social environmental adaptability. Therefore, this textbook has strengthened the content on the mental and psychological development and evaluation of children, as well as the cultivation of emotional intelligence.
