The textbook is divided into three independent parts: General Principles, Dermatology, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. It covers common and prevalent skin diseases, including the eight sexually transmitted diseases requiring key surveillance as mandated by the Ministry of Health. A detailed introduction is provided on skin tumors. New drugs are introduced, with standardized names. A dedicated chapter is included on Traditional Chinese Medicine to form the distinctive treatment approach for dermatological and venereological conditions in our province, preparing for the challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry in our province after China's entry into the WTO.
The textbook features 71 color illustrations of dermatological and venereological conditions, hoping to validate the diseases described in the text through images, enabling students to identify diseases by visual examination.
