The fundamentals of natural medicine identification chapters specifically cover the Latin naming of natural medicines, the harvesting, processing, and storage of natural medicines, as well as the preparation methods of natural medicines. The identification of natural medicines discusses the procedures, criteria, and various methods of natural medicine identification. Many contents in the general part are introduced to pharmaceutical workers for the first time, and it is hoped to gain their recognition. The specific part comprises twelve chapters, including 269 species of natural medicines, with 229 plant medicines, 27 animal medicines, and 13 mineral medicines, classified according to their medicinal parts.
