The appendix lists some commonly used formulas. By studying the content of this book, readers can systematically master the basic theories, knowledge, and skills of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), enabling better clinical nursing service. The theory of TCM is vast and profound, yet nursing programs generally allocate limited time for TCM studies, with a focus that differs from other disciplines. Therefore, in the design of this textbook, we adhere to the training objectives for higher vocational and technical education as outlined by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, striving to combine scientific rigor, practicality, inspiration, innovation, and applicability. The content is reorganized and selected according to the theoretical system of TCM. To cater to the characteristics of the nursing profession, content has been added to Chapter 8, and TCM nursing has been introduced in Chapter 11. For common diseases and syndromes treated with Chinese medicine, formulas, acupuncture, and Tuina, a tabular format is adopted, which not only reduces the length of the text but also aids students in comprehension and memorization.
