Features: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a compulsory course in higher medical colleges. With the further advancement of medical education reform, to enable students from various clinical specialties to master basic TCM knowledge and skills, and to apply the learned TCM knowledge for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of common diseases, we referred to numerous versions of TCM textbooks and combined the long-term teaching and clinical experience of all the compilers to write this book, "Traditional Chinese Medicine."
Based on the characteristics of TCM learning in Western medical schools and adhering to the principle of "facing clinical practice and emphasizing practicality," we strive to make the theoretical foundation part scientifically sound, systematic, and standardized. Concepts are clear, explanations are rigorous, and language is concise. The wording is as close as possible to Western medicine to help students fully integrate and understand. In the clinical part, common diseases are the focus, with consideration given to various specialties. Each disease is identified as belonging to a specific TCM syndrome category. For each syndrome type in differentiation and treatment, we provide "Clinical Application." At the end, we append "Simple and Effective Formulas" for students to refer to in clinical practice after graduation.
