Features: "Compass Science Activity Resource Series" is one of the research outcomes of the project under the implementation of the "Guiding Program for Science and Technology Popularization Activities for Chinese Youth (2001-2005)" by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Youth science and technology popularization activities have always been the most vibrant part of the education sector, and the changing times have given these activities new connotations. The 16th National Congress proposed the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The realization of this grand goal relies on the role of science and technology as productive forces. Among productive forces, people are the most dynamic element, and human resources are resources. Enhancing national innovation capacity not only requires cultivating professional science and technology personnel but also improving the scientific literacy of all citizens. Youth are the citizens of the future, and cultivating their scientific literacy is particularly important. "Science Activity Program Design Guide" includes four books: Early Childhood, Primary School, Junior High School, and High School. We aim to describe our understanding of youth science and technology activities, the characteristics of science and technology activities for different age groups, the characteristics of different types of science and technology activities, and the design methods for activity programs through these books. We also use reviews of actual science and technology activity programs to illustrate our viewpoints, making it easier for teachers to understand and bringing theory closer to practice. In the books, we have also included some science and technology activity programs for reference. Most of the cases selected in this series have won awards in excellent science and technology activity program competitions. Therefore, in this sense, this series is a product of the interaction between researchers and teachers. It has already undergone significant changes from our initial planning.
