Main Content: The painting Family Portrait was not an easy achievement. For years, the lingering "ailment" in my mind was dispelled, only to be replaced by physical pain. This painting took nearly two years from start to finish, and throughout the process, I was accompanied by lower back pain. Especially in the later stages, when applying the paint to the canvas, I often broke into a sweat from the pain. However, my state of mind was better than ever. Originally, the "sketch" for Family Portrait was not like this later—it was initially more inclined to depict secular life. Unfortunately, I lacked determination and, after several compromises, the work veered toward its current form. In reality, this outcome is far less intense than the initial motivation. Of course, the meaning now expressed is more eternal.
