Features: To better prevent rabies and learn from the successful experiences both domestically and internationally, the Third Expert Advisory Committee on Natural Foci Diseases of the Ministry of Health decided to have experts from the committee work together with domestic rabies experts in health and veterinary fields to compile this book and dedicate it to a broad readership. Given that rabies is currently incurable, the term "prevention and control" is more appropriate for the title of this manual. However, from a broader perspective and to align with other disease prevention and control manuals organized by the Ministry of Health, the title "Rabies Prevention and Control Manual" is still used. The content of the book includes both the terms "treatment" and "control," with distinct meanings.
