Features: In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economic construction and science and technology, the chemical reagent market has shown a trend of growing prosperity. This is reflected not only in the continuous emergence of new varieties of chemical reagents and the accelerated replacement of existing ones, but also in the introduction and sales of chemical reagents from abroad. Although many books on chemical reagents have been published in the past, few serve as comprehensive, systematic, and complete tools to introduce and reflect the current variety of chemical reagents in the domestic market, directly serving production, research, supply and marketing, and management personnel. To adapt to the development of the market economy and meet the needs of personnel involved in the production, use, operation, management, transportation, and storage of chemical reagents, we have summarized, synthesized, and organized the data of nearly 10,000 chemical reagent products circulating in China's market in recent years, including information from various domestic and international publications, and compiled this "Chemical Reagent Catalog Manual" to present it to the. This manual reflects the majority of domestically produced and imported chemical reagents currently circulating in the domestic market, with a total of 7,945 varieties. Each reagent variety includes the Chinese and English names, synonyms (including English abbreviations), empirical formula, molecular formula, relative molecular weight, properties, general physicochemical constants, national standard chemical reagent standard number, national standard hazardous material code, Ministry of Chemical Industry departmental chemical reagent standard number, current railway transportation hazardous regulations code, the "Merck Index" (The Merck Index) number, the "Colour Index" number, the enzyme commission of the International Union of Biochemistry (IUBC) number, Beijing Chemical Reagent Company product number, usage and storage precautions, specifications, packaging, and reference prices. During the compilation process, we summarized the experience of compiling and using similar chemical reagent books in the past, closely linked to the actual situation in China, and referred to and learned from the writing principles and methods of similar books abroad, striving to make this book have new content, complete varieties, reasonable arrangement, and convenient retrieval. It should be noted that the naming of compounds in this book follows the new naming principles published by the Chinese Chemical Society in 1980, which comply with the naming principles of the "International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry" (IUPAC), and at the same time implements the "Legal Metrology Units of the People's Republic of China." To accommodate some traditional habits in the past production, use, and sales of chemical reagents, and to prevent readers from misunderstanding the names of certain chemical reagents, in this manual, the old names are also listed under the "Synonyms" section.
