How to check

Patient's question:

How to carefully check appendicitis? If you have appendicitis yourself, how can you tell? Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely afraid of cold and coldness. Please ask.

Doctor's answer:

General gynecological examinations for adnexitis often reveal retroflexion of the uterus, poor mobility, and tenderness. If inflammatory masses are present, careful examination may detect masses in the parametrium or behind the uterus, with poor mobility and tenderness. Generally, ultrasound examinations show no abnormalities unless there is hydrosalpinx or the formation of a tubo-ovarian cyst, in which case MRI can detect the mass. Additionally, a urinalysis can confirm abnormal hormone levels in the body and identify the specific type of bacteria causing the infection. Adnexitis should be treated actively; if left untreated, it can lead to abnormal ovulation and fallopian tube blockage, potentially interfering with future fertility.
