Features: As a company, Oracle has generated controversy as much as it has had an impact, and the confusion it faces is as great as the admiration it receives. This situation is largely closely related to Larry Ellison, the founder and manager of the company. Although Oracle has become one of the best and most profitable companies in the media today, Ellison has no intention of following the old path. To achieve greater new goals, he is not afraid of suddenly changing the existing way of the company—rebuilding Oracle. Ellison once surpassed Bill Gates to become the world's richest man. Ellison's dramatic entrepreneurial journey has become one of the most thrilling legends in Silicon Valley, with a marketing strategy of "charge forward" and an employee principle of "smart and individualistic." Ellison enjoys indulging himself, is bold and aggressive, arrogant, and likes to associate with beautiful women. Before the age of 32, he achieved nothing, but 20 years later, he became a tech mogul in Silicon Valley. Public opinion is divided on his integrity. Genghis Khan's quote perfectly reflects Ellison's tenacious attitude toward life: "It's not enough for us to win; we must defeat everyone else." This book describes how Ellison started by writing programs, leveraging his exceptional high-tech marketing strategies and unique personal charm to build an $28 billion empire, posing a serious threat to Microsoft's dominant position. The book cites many legendary anecdotes in the computer industry, such as the intense competition between Ellison and Bill Gates; how Oracle extracted the essence of IBM's research to create its own products; and Ellison's ability to recognize and promote talent, making Oracle a dream destination for tech professionals. Even more remarkable is that Ellison himself happily took up the pen to provide insightful comments on specific details of the book, allowing us to clearly perceive his unique business philosophy and attitude toward life.
