Features: The tourism price is an important regulator in the tourism economy, a key mechanism for balancing the interests of tourism operators and consumers, and an essential tool for macro-control in tourism. Therefore, the study of tourism prices constitutes a significant component of the broader research on tourism economics. Tourism price is a comprehensive concept, representing the sum of prices for various tourism goods and services provided to travelers. It encompasses all aspects of the six core elements of tourism and is composed of the prices of individual tourism products such as transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, sightseeing, and entertainment. Currently, China's tourism price system is primarily composed of several key components: tourism transportation prices, tourism accommodation prices, tourism catering prices, tourism attraction prices, tourism service prices, and tourism commodity prices. When studying tourism prices, it is necessary to examine both the individual prices and integrate them from a macro perspective, treating them as integral parts of the entire tourism price system. Thus, this book provides a general discussion on tourism prices in its first chapter, followed by several chapters that conduct detailed research on specific components of the tourism price system, including tourism transportation prices, tourism attraction ticket prices, travel agency prices, tourism hotel prices, tourism commodity prices, and tourism catering prices. The aim is to achieve a relatively comprehensive understanding of China's tourism price system.
