Human Words consists of 64 entries finalized and published by Wang Guowei in Journal of National Essence. The original text is based on Wang You'an's annotated edition (Hui Feng Ci Hua · Human Words, People's Literature Publishing House, 1962). Each entry is followed by a translation and commentary. The translation renders the original text into modern vernacular prose, while the commentary provides appropriate annotations, explaining key theoretical viewpoints and extending them further.
Human Words Deleted Manuscript includes all remaining entries from Wang Guowei's manuscript of Human Words, excluding those published in Journal of National Essence, totaling 62 entries. The original text is based on Teng Xianhui's annotated edition (New Annotations on Human Words (Revised Edition), Qilu Publishing House, 1986). Except for 11 entries that are purely textual studies, each entry is accompanied by a translation. Since the theoretical viewpoints discussed in each entry have largely been addressed in the commentary of Human Words, no additional commentary is provided.
Human Words Appendix contains scattered discussions by Wang Guowei related to Human Words, serving as supplementary material for understanding and studying the work.
