Features: The Journal of Economics (Quarterly) is an economics academic journal sponsored by the China Center for Economic Research at Peking University and published by Peking University Press. It is published every January, April, July, and October. The journal adopts the internationally recognized anonymous peer review system and publishes original theoretical, empirical, review, and comment articles on Chinese economics. It advocates for standardized and rigorous research methods, encourages an academic orientation that combines theoretical and empirical research, and promotes academic criticism and debate. Articles published in this journal do not necessarily need to focus on China's issues, but are particularly welcome to empirical research on China's transition and development phenomena.
