Features: "If you have pleasure, shout it out!" is a maxim that has long been circulated in the military. In the 1970s, American soldiers who fought in the Vietnam War carried survival kits in their luggage, and inside each kit was a box of matches, with this maxim printed on them. It is a maxim full of masculinity, embodying the spirit that men strive for. In my novel, the man Bian Rongda is, in his bones, filled with this yearning and pursuit. He is a stifled and meek man who desperately clings to something, relentlessly chasing something. Eventually, he is forced to begin a self-preservation and self-redemption in the form of escape. Chinese men, in particular, need this kind of spirit—humanistic, free, steadfast, revolutionary, and tragic. This maxim is catchy, highly stimulating, and powerful. It is an ideal title for this male-themed novel! It’s fantastic! The only hope is that it won’t be narrowly interpreted or misunderstood by the vulgar, who might take "pleasure" as vulgar slang. God bless!
If you have a good time, just shout
