Features: Polish is a foundational textbook series for university-level Polish language programs, consisting of four volumes. The primary goal of Polish language instruction in the foundational stage is to enable students to master the basic knowledge of Polish and, through repeated practice, acquire fundamental language skills in Polish, preparing them for the transition to an advanced level.
The first 22 lessons of Polish Volume 1 are designed for beginners, providing a concise introduction to the main grammatical structures of Polish, giving students a general understanding of the language. Starting from Lesson 23, the course enters a phase of systematic grammatical review, laying a solid linguistic foundation for students.
Each lesson includes three main sections:
1. Exercises: These focus on the key grammatical points of the lesson, presented in sentence patterns with frequent repetition. The authors' intention is for students to not only master vocabulary and grammar but also actively speak the foreign language during practice.
2. Texts: These are written to be lively and engaging, easy to comprehend directly, and conducive to listening and speaking Polish.
3. Check Exercises: These cover the key learning points of the lesson and increase the difficulty level, requiring completion under the guidance of a teacher.
At the end of each lesson, there is a Polish vocabulary list for students to fill in with Chinese translations, allowing them to self-check their understanding of the word meanings.
