Features: If you wish to enjoy the pleasure of English reading while gaining knowledge and broadening your horizons, the "National Geographic Science Exploration Series" (English Annotations Edition), co-published by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and the National Geographic Society, is the perfect choice for you. The second series of the "National Geographic Science Exploration Series" (English Annotations Edition) is divided into 8 series, with a total of 46 books, covering topics in natural sciences and social studies. In addition to supplementing the existing 4 series—“Life Science,” “Physical Science,” “Earth Science,” and “The Progress of Civilization”—it also introduces 4 new series: “Science in Daily Life,” “Mathematics Behind Science,” “Thematic Studies,” and “Scientists on the Cutting Edge of the Times.” This series upholds the distinctive feature of National Geographic magazine—illustrations and text combined—with numerous vivid images, natural and easy-to-understand language, and a perfect blend of scientific rigor and fun, making it a fine mini-encyclopedia. It is particularly worth mentioning that this series not only enhances the English reading skills of young readers but also fosters their spirit of scientific exploration, hands-on abilities, logical thinking skills, and communication skills. The series is suitable for self-study by students as well as classroom teaching. Each series is accompanied by a teacher's guide, which includes background knowledge introductions, skill training tips, assessment tests, multiple-choice questions, and answers, providing comprehensive teaching support and an excellent supplement to classroom instruction.
