Features: The wisdom of Chinese classics is an important part of the world's treasure trove of wisdom. It contains life insights and sources of wisdom that are a shared wealth of humanity, with its unique value enduring through time. This time, they published the first batch of books, totaling 9 titles, including "The Analects," "Tao Te Ching · Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon," "Mencius," "The Great Learning · Doctrine of the Mean · The Classic of Filial Piety," "The Book of Rites," "The I Ching," "Three-Character Classic · Hundred Family Surnames · Thousand-Character Classic · Meng Qiu," "The Rules for Students · Dragon-Whip Shadow," and "Rhythm Enlightenment · Lianggong's Rhyme." Among them, there are both time-honored classics of Chinese culture and traditional introductory reading materials. Through recitation, one can not only enlighten the mind, inherit culture, but also regulate behavior and cultivate character. The target audience of this series is mainly Chinese children and overseas Chinese learners. It adopts a large-character layout and is accompanied by Pinyin. The format of this series is the original text with Pinyin annotations. Ancient characters and variant characters are marked with black squares in the lower right corner, while proper nouns such as names of people, places, and dynasties are highlighted by changing the Pinyin font. For the sake of protecting children's eyesight, we adopted a large-character layout, hoping that children can recite while reading in a relaxed manner. To ensure the quality of this series, we invited professional scholars to annotate and proofread the texts based on the standard editions of these classics, and we also had authoritative experts review them to guarantee the quality of the books. Reading requires a method. When the method is correct, the effort is doubled. Some great teachers have advised that reading classics is valuable, and the key to reading classics lies in reciting them until one understands, understanding to apply, applying to become skillful, and skillful to innovate. This is also the original intention of the Classic Recitation Project. In short, it boils down to six characters: precision, familiarity, understanding, application, skill, and innovation. Among these, the processes of understanding, application, and innovation are explained. However, the explanation should be based on precision and familiarity. As for the enlightenment and realization that comes when one reads with undivided attention and recites with full focus, that is truly remarkable. In such cases, ordinary explanations are no longer needed.
