Features: With the reform and opening-up and the development of the socialist market economy in China, the tourism industry has been developing rapidly with a continuously growing momentum and has been officially included in the national economy. At the same time, tourism education and research in higher education institutions have also made significant progress and have supplied a large number of professional talents to various sectors of the tourism industry. Currently, there are over 160 higher education institutions offering tourism programs. The development of the tourism industry requires tourism education to track and summarize the achievements and shortcomings of the industry in theory and reflect them promptly in teaching theory. There is a strong need for a batch of teaching materials that adapt to the development of the situation, reflect the new ideas and dynamics of tourism studies, and serve the construction of tourism disciplines. This is the purpose of our organization in compiling the series of tourism textbooks for higher education institutions. To meet the needs of tourism teaching and the work of tourism industry practitioners, this book attempts to construct its system structure based on the broad concept of tourism psychology, dividing the entire book into four parts: Part I is General Theory, consisting of two chapters (1-2); Part II is Tourism Consumption Psychology, consisting of seven chapters (3-9); Part III is Tourism Consumption Service Psychology, consisting of three chapters (10-12); and Part IV is Tourism Enterprise Management Psychology, consisting of four chapters (13-16).
