Features: The Simplified Chen Style Tai Chi, as revised by the Chinese Wushu Research Institute, is derived from the competitive Chen Style Tai Chi form. The original form consists of 56 movements, which are compact and require significant physical exertion, primarily intended for professional athletes for practice and competition. This made the form intimidating for enthusiasts and beginners. To address this, the author, combining years of learning, training, teaching experience, and practical teaching, has created this Simplified Chen Style Tai Chi set, with versions in 8 and 16 movements. It includes the most representative and distinctive movements of Chen Style Tai Chi. The goal is to help practitioners quickly grasp the key points of the movements, improve practice quality, enhance interest, and adapt to modern fast-paced lifestyles. In a shorter period, one can master a simple yet complete form, achieving both physical fitness and routine practice effects. The Simplified Chen Style Tai Chi comes in two sets: the 8-Movement version and the 16-Movement version. The 8-Movement set features symmetrical left-right movements, making it easy to practice in place. The 16-Movement set consists of 16 different movements without repetition.
