Features: "The Basic Training Guide for Medical Staff in Medical Institutions" (Pediatric Edition) includes three parts: basic pediatric medicine, basic clinical knowledge and theories of pediatrics, and basic technical operations and critical care techniques in medicine. Basic pediatric medicine is a unique part of pediatrics, including growth and development, child health care, mental health, and planned immunization. Pediatrics covers a wide range, not limited to pediatric internal medicine but also including rapidly developing fields such as pediatric surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric otolaryngology, and pediatric dermatology. Additionally, the age range of pediatrics has been expanded. To accommodate pediatric specialists and other clinicians in mastering and familiarizing themselves with pediatric clinical knowledge, the writing of pediatric diseases has been emphasized. The purpose of this book is to highlight the characteristics of pediatrics, striving for brevity and clarity, with a focus on introducing the basic theories, knowledge, and techniques of various pediatric specialties. The main content covers the "familiar with" and "master" sections of the "Pediatrics Teaching Syllabus." The original "Review Questions and Solutions for Basic Training" was written in a question-and-answer format, which was limited and no longer met clinical needs. This book has been rewritten to address the evolving medical science and the need to strengthen the fundamental training of medical staff. It has added chapters on pediatric emergency medicine and several important pediatric infectious diseases.
