Features: Every individual living in modern society benefits from the blessings of technology. Every achievement that constitutes modern civilization embodies the essence of technology. Without technology, it is difficult to move away from the past; without technology, it is even more impossible to move towards the future. However, technology is not just the "child of science." Without abandoning the view that technological innovation is merely a natural extension of scientific development, we cannot escape the overly simplistic misguidance of the "ideal social construction perspective" on our cognition. Technology is an endogenous variable in the economic field. Technological innovation is the intrinsic engine of the economic field. Moreover, technology is merely a means, not an end. The focus of technological innovation should not be solely on the application of science or technology, but should directly target the improvement of consumption and the enhancement of the economy. Focusing on the needs of consumption and the economy, discovering a possibility that others have not yet seen—utilizing a technological means to improve consumption and boost the economy—and ultimately turning this possibility into reality—this is the essence of technological innovation.
