They are stable, well-structured, and excellent textbooks, with nine listed as national-level key textbooks and nineteen as ministerial-level key textbooks. Moreover, all these textbooks have been rigorously reviewed at three levels—by academic committees of the respective institutions, editorial committees of each volume of the series, and the general editorial committee—before publication. It can be confidently asserted that all textbooks in the series represent the highest level of current professional art education achievements in China. It is also reasonable to anticipate that the series will play an irreplaceable role in standardizing future professional art education, including general art education, in China.
