Features: Wu Yao was born in Liaoyang in 1974 and began learning painting in childhood. At the age of ten, he moved to Beijing to study art and attended the Central Academy of Arts & Crafts and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of the Liaoning Chinese Painting Institute, Director of the Creation Studio, and a full-time painter. Wu Yao's works primarily focus on realistic animal paintings, supplemented by landscape art. His animal paintings fully combine Western painting techniques with traditional Chinese painting theory, creating a strong visual impact on viewers. In terms of subject matter, composition, expression techniques, and artistic conception, he has made significant breakthroughs, gradually forming his own unique style. His works have been selected for numerous domestic and international art exhibitions and have won awards. Several galleries regularly exhibit and sell his works. In 2000, he returned to Shenyang to participate in the establishment of the Liaoning Chinese Painting Institute. In May 2001, the Xinhua News Agency's delegation to Germany presented his work "Mountain God" as a gift to the Mayor of Munich. In June 2002, the Liaoning delegation to South Korea presented his work "Majesty's Style" as a gift to the leaders of Seoul. In October, he was invited to participate in the Yantai Art Expo. In 2003, his average monthly growth was featured in 92 episodes of Liaoning TV's "Kuangdong Art Garden," highlighting his achievements in landscape and animal paintings. In August, his work "Cold Moon Nightmares" won the Excellence Award in the "Four Perfections of Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting, and Seal" competition. In September, he participated in the "Shenyang 9th Commodity Trade Expo." In 2004, in October, he was invited to participate in the "Chongqing First Art Expo."
