Building on the 12 civil engineering trades we have already published, we have added 5 new installation trades, including: ventilation worker, pipe worker, installation hoisting worker, engineering installation fitter, and engineering electrical equipment installation and commissioning worker. This set of textbooks emphasizes the training requirements for operational skills, with theoretical knowledge sufficient for practical needs, focusing on introducing new materials, processes, technologies, and tools that have emerged in recent years. The content covers the knowledge and skill requirements for primary, intermediate, and advanced workers as outlined in the "National Vocational Standards," "Vocational Skill Standards," and "Occupational Skill Position Assessment Specifications." It serves as the textbook for vocational skill training for production and operation personnel. This book is primarily based on the "Occupational Skill Position Standards" for engineering electrical equipment installation and commissioning workers (primary, intermediate, and advanced) issued by the Ministry of Construction, as well as the relevant "Occupational Skill Position Assessment Specifications." The compilation approach starts with practical application, guided by the implementation of the latest national standards and specifications, reflecting new technological achievements. The content is highly targeted and practical, presented with illustrations and clear explanations to ensure ease of understanding. It can be used as a teaching textbook for construction vocational skill position training, as well as a reference for practical teaching in secondary vocational colleges and for electrical installation engineering technicians. The main content includes: basic knowledge of electricity and electronics, common electrical materials, reading of building electrical engineering drawings, basic electrical operation skills, power distribution and transformation systems, indoor wiring engineering, electrical lighting engineering, power engineering, cable wiring engineering, overhead wiring engineering, building lightning protection and grounding engineering, building low-voltage engineering, and electrical safety. At the end of the book, there are mock assessment papers for the primary, intermediate, and advanced levels of electrical vocational skill positions, along with reference answers.
