Features: This book includes over 1,400 film comic books published in China, all provided by collectors in Heilongjiang Province. Due to the limited number of people specializing in collecting film comic books, compiling this collection presented certain challenges. Although the comic books in this book span from 1921 to 1996, there are undoubtedly many omissions. Nationalist-era film comic books are included due to their rarity, and fragments are also recorded. Some without covers use an interior page as a substitute. Some older film comic books from before the Cultural Revolution are included even if they lack copyright pages, as they are quite valuable. Some feature film comic books do not indicate print numbers or film production studios, and some have neither. For special editions, we have made every effort to specify, such as foreign-language versions or color versions. Foreign film comic books without the name of the production studio or company are marked with the country of origin. A few film comic books from the late Cultural Revolution era are only labeled as (Part 1) or (Part 1)(Part 2) because no sequels were produced after the Cultural Revolution, making it impossible to publish comic books. Additionally, some series are only collected as individual volumes. Regarding opera film comic books, any listed opera types are reproduced as they appear in the original books. If the original book does not specify the opera type and no information is available, this detail is left blank. Some documentary comic books contain extensive content, such as paintings, photographs, or even slide shows, which lack continuity. Although not explicitly labeled, they are indeed documentaries. Regarding exchange prices, the listed values are current reference prices, with condition ratings based on 8 to 10 out of 10. Some prices for Nationalist-era or older fragments are based on complete collections in 8 or better condition.
This book includes over 1,400 film comic books published in China, categorized into domestic feature films, foreign feature films, opera films, documentaries, educational/scientific films, and art films.
