Features: Adult higher education is an important part of China's higher education, cultivating and training millions of specialized talents, and comprehensively promoting quality education. Serving a wide range of employed working professionals and contributing to local social and economic development are the main tasks of adult higher education. In recent years, China's higher education has entered a new stage of mass education, and the development of adult higher education and the structure of its student body have undergone significant changes. In the new context, to better accommodate various groups of students participating in the adult college entrance examination and highlight the characteristics of adult higher education, while better reflecting the objectives of the entrance examination, relevant departments of the Ministry of Education revised the "Comprehensive Entrance Examination Review and Preparation Outline for Various Adult Higher Education Institutions" (hereinafter referred to as "Outline") after conducting research and soliciting opinions from relevant experts. The revised "Outline" fully considers the different learning backgrounds of adult examinees and places greater emphasis on assessing their grasp of fundamental knowledge, analytical skills, and practical problem-solving abilities. The new "Outline" includes two parts: senior high school entrance to undergraduate and junior college, and junior college entrance to undergraduate. The senior high school entrance to undergraduate and junior college outline covers eight subjects: Chinese, Chinese (for ethnic minority students in areas where ethnic languages are used for instruction, taking the Chinese language exam for adult higher education institutions), mathematics, English, Japanese, Russian, physics and chemistry, and history and geography. It is published in one volume by the People's Education Press and the Higher Education Press. The junior college entrance to undergraduate outline includes ten subjects: English, politics, university Chinese, introduction to art, advanced mathematics (I), advanced mathematics (II), civil law, educational theory, basic ecology, and medical comprehensive. To facilitate the review of examinees applying for different disciplines, it is divided into five volumes and published by the Higher Education Press. The "Outline" is intended for examinees participating in the adult college entrance examination in October 2005 for enrollment in the spring of 2006. This volume is the review and preparation outline for the junior college entrance to undergraduate programs in economics and management, intended for examinees with a junior college graduation level who are applying for economics, management, vocational education, biological sciences, geographical sciences, environmental sciences, psychological sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences.
