After being injured in the joust, Ivanhoe is cared for by the Jewish woman Rebecca. Unfortunatly, Ivanhoe, Isaac, Cedric, and Rowena are captured by Normans and imprisoned in Tewkesbury Castle. Later, thanks to the efforts of Richard the Lionheart, his men, and Robin Hood, everyone except Rebecca is rescued. After learning that Rebecca has been taken by Boyce Gilbert, Ivanhoe engages in a decisive battle with Bois G?? and rescues Rebecca. In the end, Richard the Lionheart, revealing his true identity, arranges Ivanhoe's marriage to Rowena. Ivanhoe depicts the conflict between the Saxons and Normans in medieval England, as well as the love lives and extraordinary skills of the knights.
