Features: Animation is the most creative and exciting form of film production today. But if you're a beginner, where do you start? This book will teach you how to get started with animation, covering a wide range of topics from animated stories, stop-motion animation to 3D animation. It uses numerous static illustrations, screen captures, and animated works to provide valuable resources and creative inspiration for both animation beginners and professional animators. From flipbook animation to 3D animation, this book will provide you with all the knowledge you need to create your own animated films. The course structure is simple and clear, making it easy to understand. This book covers the latest computer animation software, helping you find shortcuts to creating international film animation or web animation. Each chapter includes case studies that analyze the core techniques of practical operations. The book includes six courses: Story, Stop-motion Animation, Simple Animation, Cel Animation, Web Animation, and Computer 3D Animation. Animation, whether in the form of traditional animated films or modern digital animation, is the art of creating moving images by capturing a series of individual action images and playing them in rapid succession. Animation can be created by drawing images on materials such as celluloid film or paper, or using clay figures, paper figures, or computer-generated images. Regardless of the type of animation, the basic creative principles and techniques are the same. When you pick up this book, it may mean you have the opportunity to show your talent in this magical art of animation. This book aims to help you learn more and do better in animation creation. When writing this book, I imagined my readers to be: 1. Non-professional animators; 2. People with a certain level of creativity and artistic literacy; 3. Those who own a personal computer or have access to plenty of paper and drawing tools; 4. People with excellent patience from start to finish; 5. Those who want to tell a story. The goal of this book: "Fundamentals of British Animation Design" aims to introduce all the different forms of animation and their characteristics, encouraging readers to try various creative methods. It hopes to help you find a good job in animation creation based on your talent in this field. As the saying goes, only by doing what you love will you never feel tired. My earliest work was as a photographer and graphic designer, and now I am a contributing writer for a creative digital technology journal. I am very fortunate to work in such an environment, where I began to realize that animation is an art that can incorporate all theories at once. I am currently working on building a website dedicated to serving animation designers and comic designers, hoping it can provide practical design resources for everyone. It is impossible to include everything you want to know about animation in this book, but I strive to make it as practical as possible and to inspire the reader's creativity. Of course, what is even more important is that I hope this book can encourage everyone to start creating their own animated film, because practice is the best teacher.
