Features: To better adapt to the continuous reform and development of teaching materials, as well as to meet the varying needs of basic education in southern and northern regions, major education provinces, and underdeveloped central and western areas, we established a research team in August 2002. After more than a year of research, design, and planning, we formulated the initial framework of the Middle and Primary School Classroom Knowledge Handbook series. Professors, teachers, and some principals from universities such as Beijing Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Shandong Normal University, Tianjin Normal University, Anhui Normal University, Qufu Normal University, as well as from affiliated high schools and Beijing Haidian Textbook Training College, Huanggang High School, Qidong High School, Hefei High School, Tongling High School, and Shanxi Kangjie High School, contributed significantly to the writing of the series.
We believe that implementing key knowledge points holds greater promise than simply following textbook chapters, and that regardless of the variety or version of textbooks, the syllabus and curriculum standards, as well as key knowledge points and structural modules, remain relatively fixed. Based on this understanding, the series adopts a compilation philosophy that balances depth and breadth in subject matter while appropriately raising standards, fully interpreting the new curriculum standards and syllabus. Furthermore, by referencing several influential textbooks published by the Ministry of Education, the series analyzes the connotations of subject concepts, expands and extends their extensions, highlights difficult and easily mistaken points, and emphasizes the horizontal integration of knowledge content and the vertical integration of typical problems. It also strives to appropriately summarize hot topics and related knowledge intersections.
