Features: Reading ability is a very important basic literacy skill in Chinese language education. Cultivating students' reading ability has long been a key topic in Chinese language teaching. In recent years, with the increasing calls for quality-oriented education, the assessment of reading ability has gained more attention. In various exams, the proportion of points allocated to reading has been on the rise, and reading test questions have become more flexible and diverse, with the content depth also increasing. This set of "Reading Treasure" guides you through the world of reading, teaching you how to "savor," "experience," and "reflect" in your reading, and how to develop the good reading habit of "extensive reading with deep thinking." During the writing process, "Reading Treasure" adheres to the following principles:
1. The principle of combining nourishment and training. We believe that Chinese language learning is more akin to art education and must emphasize the importance of immersion and through recitation, extensive reading, memorization, and deep thinking, thereby improving students' reading and writing skills.
2. The principle of unifying humanity, comprehensiveness, and practicality. The rich humanistic connotations of Chinese language courses have a profound and broad impact on people's spiritual realms. Therefore, the and nurturing role of Chinese language education should be emphasized. The materials selected for "Reading Treasure" are abundant and profound, with certain spiritual value guidance, helping students understand truth, goodness, and beauty while improving their reading ability.
3. The principle of unifying exemplarity, contemporaneity, vividness, and interest. The selected articles adhere to the principle of "beauty in both content and form," considering the psychological characteristics of students at different grade levels in terms of content, language, and style. While paying attention to linguistic norms, the timeliness of the selected texts is also considered, along with the liveliness, vividness, and interest of the language, to suit students of different age groups.
This series consists of four volumes, covering grades 3 to 6. It includes approximately 320 passages, chapters, and sections. The selected content is uplifting in theme, with beautiful and rhythmic language, sincere and moving emotions, and excellent word choice, sentence structure, and overall composition. These pieces are either profound in meaning, cleverly crafted, thought-provoking, or linguistically exquisite, containing rich reading information that greatly benefits students' moral development, cultural literacy, and language proficiency.
The selected texts vary in genre and length, making them highly readable and slightly above the reading level of students in their respective grades. The are diverse, and the question types are typical, aiming to provide comprehensive training from multiple perspectives.
"Reading Treasure" offers examples of reading exercises for primary school students, teachers, and parents, progressing from simple to complex and from easy to difficult. This allows students to grasp the general rules of reading short passages, overcome the difficulty of "analyzing short texts," and develop good reading habits. Through reading, they can challenge themselves, conquer difficulties, enjoy growth, and gain resilience.
We sincerely hope that students will find the key to reading in "Reading Treasure." By reading one short passage after another and thinking through each question, they will master reading methods, discover the path to reading, and continuously improve their comprehensive reading ability and exam-taking skills.
We wholeheartedly wish that students will fall in love with reading, learn to read effectively, and achieve improvements and excellent results in reading exams, laying a solid foundation in Chinese language for their future needs in society!
