Features: Organized by the authoritative research institution—the Institute of Finance of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, this publication is the most centralized, systematic, comprehensive, and continuous reflection of the current state, development, and reform process of China's financial legal system. This "Rule of Law" consists of four main parts: "Overview," "Progress," "Special Topics," and "Cases."
"Overview" serves as the summary of the entire book. Its purpose is to provide a macro-level review of the basic characteristics and developmental trajectory of China's financial legal system.
"Progress" involves sector-specific research. It systematically records and evaluates the developments in China's financial legal system in the current year, covering different stages such as legislation, law enforcement, judicial processes, and compliance, across major financial sectors such as banking, securities and futures, insurance, and trust industries.
"Special Topics" offers in-depth analysis of hotspots and challenges. We will conduct systematic theoretical analysis around the key issues and difficulties that have emerged in China's financial legislation, financial justice, financial operations, and financial regulation over the past year. The goal is to reveal the ideal state of these issues, thereby providing theoretical support to eliminate legal barriers hindering financial development and establish laws and regulations that promote it.
"Cases" provides a detailed analysis of major financial cases. We strive to systematically collect and carefully select individual cases that have had a significant impact on the development of China's financial legal system and offer multi-perspective commentary. Through these case studies, we aim to witness the historical trajectory of China's financial legal system from a practical perspective, identify areas that still need improvement, and propose concrete and feasible solutions.
