Features: This textbook fully implements the spirit of the "Interim Regulations on the Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" issued by the National Civil Service Commission, and is compiled according to the level and the second item on translation comprehensive ability in the "National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination Japanese Translation Intermediate Examination Syllabus (Trial)" regarding the purpose of the examination and the basic requirements. Specifically, it aims to strengthen the comprehensive Japanese language application ability of candidates preparing for the exam, focusing on helping them steadily improve their reading comprehension skills and techniques for solving difficult problems. To provide more practice and improvement in reading and understanding Japanese originals of higher difficulty, the textbook includes 48 Japanese original texts of various types, divided into 16 lessons. Each lesson consists of three parts: Text 1 (Main Text 1), Text 2 (Main Text 2), and Out-of-Class Reading Materials. Among them, Text 1 (Main Text 1) and Text 2 (Main Text 2) are similar articles. To diversify the content, the themes of Out-of-Class Reading Materials are not restricted by this rule. Considering the need for a better understanding and mastery of the details of the original texts, each article is divided into two main parts: Article Interpretation and Exercises. The Article Interpretation section is further divided into three aspects: vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure, to lay a solid foundation for interpreting the article. The Exercise section focuses on vocabulary semantics, grammatical application, and article comprehension, aiming to test and improve the candidate's understanding of the text. This textbook can only serve as a guide for beginners. For greater improvement and practice, it relies on more training and practice, continuously updating knowledge structures and broadening horizons.
