From intensity to tranquility, from brilliance to simplicity, from meticulously crafted density to ethereal lightness, from fervent passion to poetic reverie, it continuously moves from virtual history into poetic spaces, allowing people to perceive the creative journey of Chen Xiting. His creation, The Treaty of Chanyuan, is the lifetime masterpiece of Peking Opera master Zhou Xinfang, while You Sanjie is the classic legacy of Peking Opera actress Tong Zhiling. Both plays have gained fame in the world of Peking Opera. His historical dramas are filled with fervent passion, while his Dream of the Red Chamber adaptations are ethereal and sorrowful. In the historical process of modern transformation of Chinese opera, Mr. Chen is an irreplaceable pivotal figure with a turning-point significance. He has achieved a harmonious dialogue between calligraphy and stage performance. His lyrics are elegant and refined, resonating with repetition, reflecting the painstaking efforts of his heart and soul. Artists like Mr. Chen, with a profound foundation in traditional Chinese culture and an extremely strong cultural heritage, are no longer possible to regenerate in modern society.
