Features: This book includes seven chapters and one appendix. Chapter 1 Introduction, introducing the overall content and historical overview of logic. Chapter 2 Propositional Logic, whose content is close to general logic textbooks, but more rich and systematic. Chapter 3 Term Logic, which explains the reasoning of categorical propositions using traditional methods, and some changes have been made in writing to align with the content of the following chapters. Chapter 4 Monadic Predicate Logic, which serves as a transition from traditional to modern content. Chapter 5 Predicate Logic is a systematic exposition of modern predicate logic. Chapter 6 Inductive Logic, which introduces the basic content of inductive logic using a more modern approach. Chapter 7 Logic Methods, which includes topics related to logic but not purely deductive reasoning, such as definitions, arguments, and debates. The appendix briefly introduces some contents in modern logicology known as "non-classical logic" or "applied logic." The purpose is to give readers a relatively comprehensive understanding of modern logicology, especially to let readers know that the classical logic we discuss is not the only logical theory, nor is it an invincible logical theory.
