How should menopausal syndrome be treated?

Patient's question:

I used to be a very calm person, but recently I can't control my temper and always argue with my family. I seem to dislike everything. What's going on with me? Please ask: How should one treat menopausal syndrome?

Doctor's answer:

Menopausal syndrome is a series of symptoms caused by the rise in estrogen levels. Due to the decline in ovarian function, the pituitary gland becomes tense and excretes excessive gonadotropins, leading to a disruption in the autonomic nervous system. This results in a range of varying symptoms, such as menstrual changes, flushing, palpitations, neurasthenia, fatigue, depression, excessive worry, emotional instability, irritability, and difficulty concentrating, collectively referred to as "menopausal syndrome." The majority of women experience a gradual decline in ovarian function, allowing the body to sufficiently adjust and compensate for this change, or they may only have mild symptoms.
