Features: Children's art education is gaining increasing attention from parents. Parents encourage their children to learn painting to develop their intelligence, children's perseverance, and thereby enhance their cultural literacy. Some parents aim to cultivate a skill for their children, while others hope their children will become painters. So, why do children learn to paint, how should they learn, and what are the differences between children's painting and adult painting? This question is not clearly understood by many teachers and parents. This book, "Crayon Painting Techniques," is a review and consolidation of oil pastel painting techniques. Oil pastels and crayons are fundamentally different tools. Crayons have the characteristics of wax, so they can be used together with small brushes in techniques and painting methods without the colors covering each other. Crayon painting is not as delicate as oil pastel painting; it exhibits rough and thick lines, creating a bas-relief effect. The paintings leave irregular background colors, which is normal and a distinctive feature of crayon painting.
