Features: Zhongzhou Ancient Books proudly presents this immortal magical classic that has captivated the world for over a century. This book is one of the four magical novels by British female writer E. Nesbit and is the cornerstone of 20th-century fantasy literature. The story begins 90 years before Harry Potter's birth. Five children dug up a monster called the "Sand Fairy" on the sand, and the Sand Fairy possessed the power to grant various wishes. This long tells the story of five siblings who meet a Sand Fairy who can fulfill their wishes, but every wish they make leads them into trouble and brings unexpected awkward results. The story begins on a moving day. Cyril, Anthia, Robert, Jane, and their two-year-old brother, Lamb, move to their seaside new home for the summer. Their parents go out, leaving them with a nanny and others. They dig sandpits on the beach. Suddenly, a monster emerges from the sand. The monster claims to be the "Sand Fairy." He has a magic that can instantly turn the children's wishes into reality. So, the children make a wish every day, but the fulfillment of these wishes also leads them into awkward situations. They want to become beautiful, but the nanny doesn't recognize them, so they can't go home or eat. They ask for a lot of money, but these ancient gold coins are useless, and they almost get taken away by the police. Their little brother is wanted by everyone. They grow wings and fly to the roof of the church tower but get stuck there. Robert turns into a giant, and their little brother becomes a young man in his twenties. The Sand Fairy lacks the mysteriousness and solemnity of ordinary monsters. He is forcibly dug out of the sand, and his appearance is clumsy and reluctant, but he has a strong sense of self-esteem. He becomes good friends with these children, fulfilling their wishes every day, but his magic is limited. He can only cast one spell at a time, and this magic only lasts for a day, disappearing when the sun sets. In her work, the author doesn't bring real children into a fantasy world but brings characters from the fantasy world into the children's daily lives. This greatly bridges the distance between the work and its readers.
