The love written by Ms. Bing Xin is a love that transcends passion, a mother's compassion, and a child's purity. In the author's works, it is a fundamental moral and a desire for peace. — Shen Congwen
In the past, we were all lonely children. From her (Bing Xin) works, we have received much warmth and comfort. We have learned to love the stars and the sea, and from those kind and beautiful sentences, we have been warmed by the loss of our motherly love that we will never regain. I would like to present this Collected Works of Bing Xin as a New Year gift to them, hoping that this book, which has once soothed our hearts, can also bring a little warmth to them on cold nights and in lonely dreams. — Ba Jin
When I was in primary school, there were three books that deeply moved me. One was The School of Love written by an Italian author, the most touching part of which is A Journey of Six Thousand Li to Find My Mother. Another was Pinocchio, and the fate of Pinocchio made me deeply concerned. The third was the Complete Works of Bing Xin published by Beishu Bookstore. Although I haven’t read many of this kind of book since I grew up, they have indeed sown the seeds of kindness, love, and aspiration in my heart. — Wang Meng
Any person who has read her (Bing Xin) articles, even if only a few, or anyone who has spoken with her, even for just a few minutes, will be deeply moved by her heart. — Shu Yi
Bing Xin’s Words: This love, like fire and flames, moves this weary world step by step toward the light! With my love, I have everything! Love is on the right, compassion is on the left. Walking by the sides of life’s path, we sow and bloom at every moment, filling this long journey with fragrant flowers. Mother! You are the lotus leaf, and I am the red lotus. The rain of the heart has come. Except for you, who is the shade over me under the open sky?
