The love written by Ms. Bing Xin is a love devoid of passion, a mother's compassion, and a child's purity. In the author's works, it is a moral foundation and a desire for peace. — Shen Congwen
In the past, we were all lonely children. From her (Bing Xin) works, we have received much warmth and comfort. We learned to love the stars and the sea, and from those kind and beautiful words, we were warmed as we had permanently lost our mother's love. I would like to present this Collected Works of Bing Xin as a New Year gift to them, hoping that this book, which has once soothed our hearts, can also bring some warmth to them on cold nights and in lonely dreams. — Ba Jin
When I was in primary school, there were three books that deeply moved me. One was The School of Love written by an Italian author, the most touching part of which is A Journey of Six Thousand Li to Find My Mother. Another was Pinocchio, and the fate of Pinocchio made me deeply concerned. The third was the Complete Works of Bing Xin published by Beishu Bookstore. Although I did not read many of this kind of book after I grew up, they had indeed sown the seeds of kindness, love, and aspiration in my heart. — Wang Meng
Any person who has read her (Bing Xin) articles, even if they have only read a few; any person who has spoken with her, even if they have only talked for a few minutes, will be deeply moved by her heart. — Shu Yi
Bing Xin’s Words of Bing Xin: This fiery love force moves this weary world step by step toward the light! With my love, I have everything! Love is on the right, compassion is on the left. Walking by the sides of life’s path, we sow and bloom at every moment, adorning this long journey with fragrant flowers. Mother! You are the lotus leaf, I am the lotus. When the rain of the heart comes, who but you can be the shade over me under the open sky?
