Yao Ling sets out to find the "Dream-Realizing Book," which was accidentally dropped to the human world, and lands on the ground (human world). By chance, she meets a boy named Xuan Zhu. The two embark on a journey together to find the traces of the "Dream-Realizing Book," encountering various adventures along the way. During this process, they discover the true meaning of friendship and the genuine love of the human world. They grow and mature. Dou Dou gets sick, and the shy Jiang Xian takes his place in the school performance. During practice at home, Jiang Xian notices a bow on the script "The Sun and the Moon." He takes the book to Yao Ling, who, after reviewing it, believes she has found the "Dream-Realizing Book" and is overjoyed. Through the magic mirror, Ling connects with the book's guardian. The guardian tells Yao Ling that the "Dream-Realizing Book" is scattered into many volumes across the human world, and she must find all of them to return to heaven. Jiang Xian discovers a "Dream-Realizing Book" while organizing the school library. He entrusts Dagu to deliver the book to Yao Ling, but because of the stifling summer heat, the Dagu fall asleep in the car. The fire fox informs the Dagu brothers about the small spirits that jump out of the "Dream-Realizing Book," then sends them back to the human world to continue searching for the book. When the Dagu brothers descend, they land right on the sleeping Dagu' car. They discover the "Dream-Realizing Book" and successfully scan it using the fire fox's method.
