Chapter 2: Relations Between Major Countries in Asia-Pacific, discussing the historical, current, and future trends of relations among the four major countries—China, the United States, Japan, and Russia—since World War II, especially after the Cold War.
Chapter 3: Asia-Pacific Regional Security, analyzing the background, structure, and future trends of regional security from both traditional perspectives (military security) and non-traditional perspectives (economic, social, and ecological security).
Chapter 4: Asia-Pacific Regional Cooperation, introducing the origins, current status, challenges, and future trends of regional economic and political cooperation.
The Lower Part, titled "Asia-Pacific Regional Politics," is divided into three chapters:
Chapter 5: Northeast Asian Politics, focusing on the political systems, origins, and developments of parties in Japan, South Korea, North Korea, and Mongolia, as well as analyzing major international issues within the region.
Chapter 6: Southeast Asian and South Pacific Politics, introducing the historical backgrounds and current political situations of Southeast Asian and South Pacific countries, with a deeper exploration of regional organizations like ASEAN and regional international relations.
Chapter 7: South Asian Politics, covering the political, political changes, and regional international relations of South Asian countries, as well as a basic analysis and discussion of the South Asian Regional Cooperation Alliance.
