How to treat cervical erosion?

Patient's question:

Female, 32 years old, was recently checked at the hospital and found to have cervical erosion of degree II. I am a bit worried, it is said that this can be treated, I would like to ask what are the steps to treat cervical erosion?

Doctor's answer:

The cervix, due to varying degrees of inflammatory stimulation, exhibits slower growth of columnar epithelium at the cervix, with a flat epithelium and smooth surface, which is known as simple erosion. When the columnar epithelium grows rapidly and forms fibrotic glands, it is referred to as glandular erosion. If the glands extend, it may develop into follicular erosion, accompanied by interstitial fibrosis, forming small protrusions and exposing uneven columnar epithelium, which constitutes papillary erosion.
