Features: Some say Europe is utterly unrealistic, for it is just a fairy tale. Others say Europe is a series of postcards, with each step revealing a new scene, making one feel as if they are in a painting. Still others claim Europe is a place specially favored by God, for it has accumulated so much civilization. Western Europe is a fairy tale that one cannot afford to miss. Dreams are born in the morning; do not strike a match, do not disturb the stars and the moon. Everything around us might speak at any moment, and we might willingly, like Alice in Wonderland, fall down the rabbit hole by the Thames River, dance with Snow White in the Black Forest, and then bravely follow Pinocchio, the wooden puppet, through countless hardships to become a true human being. The history of Western Europe is too vast to be summarized in words. Even that short statured Napoleon, at 1.52 meters, caused the entire Europe to be in turmoil, and even today, historians still say, "After Napoleon, there will always be a question mark." The sound of Caesar's iron hooves and the smoke of the two World Wars may have faded, but the people who love peace and pursue justice will never forget them! Seeing Western Europe in different seasons, under different weather conditions, and with different moods will yield different answers. To truly see London, one must see it shrouded in mist and rain; when Berlin encounters snow and storms, unexpected events may reveal the hearts of the Germans, who are not always on guard. When the sun comes out, it is the perfect time to admire the beauty of Paris, the City of Love, but then, the embroidered curtains by the street window suddenly draw closed, rejecting the affectionate sunlight. Is this the real Europe, or the imagined Europe? You can ask her yourself!
