Features: The Sanxi Tang Fapti is a large-scale collection of calligraphy compiled and carved by the imperial court in the early years of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong collected the rare treasures—Wang Xizhi's "Kuaixue Shiqing Tie," Wang Xuanzhi's "Zhongqiu Tie," and Wang Liaozhi's "Boyuan Tie"—in the Yangxin Hall of the Forbidden City and named the collection place "Sanxi Tang," hence the name of the Sanxi Tang Fapti. The Sanxi Tang Fapti is a large-scale calligraphy collection that represents the pinnacle of calligraphic achievements throughout Chinese history, compiled in chronological order, and nearly encompasses all the finest calligraphic masterpieces that the Qing court could gather. Wang Xizhi, Wang Xuanzhi, Ouyang Xun, Chu Suiliang, Yan Zhenqing, Sun Guoting, Huai Su, Liu Gongquan, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fu, and Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, along with the royal collection, imperial decrees, and the editor-in-chief Liang Shizheng, who were all renowned calligraphers of the time, ensured that the Sanxi Tang Fapti was exceptionally selective. As a result, it has become a highly sought-after and revered collection for calligraphy enthusiasts worldwide.
