Features: Starting from 2005, the preliminary subjects of the MBA entrance exam were changed from the previous 4 (Politics, English, Comprehensive Ability, Management) to 2 (English, Comprehensive Ability Exam). Based on content integration, the Comprehensive Ability Exam emphasizes the nature of aptitude testing. The Politics Theory course exam is conducted during the second round of interviews. It should be noted that reducing the preliminary subjects does not mean lowering the admission threshold, but rather adjusting the exam structure according to the characteristics of MBA applicants and enrollment requirements. The reduction in written exam subjects is accompanied by an emphasis on the interview, with the goal of selecting outstanding candidates with strong basic qualities, comprehensive abilities, and management potential. In 2006, the exam time for all written subjects in the MBA entrance exam was 3 hours. The foreign language exam had a maximum score of 100 points, and the Comprehensive Ability Exam had a maximum score of 200 points. The English exam used the MBA entrance exam paper, and the preliminary exam only included written tests. Listening and speaking tests were arranged during the second round of interviews. Candidates who chose to take Japanese or Russian as foreign languages used the national postgraduate unified enrollment exam paper. Other language subjects were independently set by the examining institutions. The "GRK exam" held in the autumn for working professionals pursuing MBA degrees tested the English exam paper set by the National Center for Postgraduate Education and Research. The Comprehensive Ability Exam mainly tests candidates' basic mathematical knowledge required for MBA courses, their ability to analyze and solve problems using mathematical methods, logical reasoning skills, and Chinese language proficiency. The Comprehensive Ability Exam includes four types of questions: Problem Solving, Sufficiency of Conditions Judgment, Logical Reasoning, and Writing. The Problem Solving and Sufficiency of Conditions Judgment question types involve elementary mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory, but differ from typical math exams. To reduce candidates' preparation workload and benefit working professionals with heavier workloads, the exam syllabus does not require a systematic review of mathematical knowledge but selects several essential points for assessment. According to the requirements of the 2006 MBA exam syllabus, the National Center for Business Administration Entrance Exam Research organized the writing of this "2006 MBA Entrance Exam Guidance Textbook." As a pre-exam preparation guide, the content of this book strives to be concise and accurately reflects the requirements of the 2006 MBA exam syllabus, catering to readers' preparation needs. Some practice questions and mock tests in the textbook have also been adjusted based on the changes in content and difficulty of the newly revised exam syllabus.
