Features: Starting from 2005, the preliminary exam subjects for the MBA entrance examination were changed from the previous 4 subjects (Politics, English, Comprehensive Ability, Management) to 2 subjects (English, Comprehensive Ability Exam). On the basis of integrating content, the Comprehensive Ability Exam emphasizes the nature of aptitude testing. The Politics Theory course exam is conducted during the second round of examinations. It should be noted that reducing the number of preliminary exam subjects does not mean lowering the admission threshold, but rather adjusting the exam structure in response to the characteristics of MBA applicants and enrollment requirements. The purpose is to reduce written exam subjects while strengthening the interview, aiming to select outstanding candidates with good basic qualities, strong comprehensive abilities, and management potential. In 2006, the exam time for all written subjects in the MBA entrance examination was 3 hours. The foreign language exam had a maximum score of 100 points, and the Comprehensive Ability Exam had a maximum score of 200 points. The English exam used the MBA entrance examination paper, and the preliminary exam only included written tests. Listening and speaking tests were arranged during the second round of examinations. Candidates who chose to take Japanese or Russian as foreign languages used the national postgraduate unified enrollment examination paper. Test questions for other languages were independently set by the examining institutions. The "GRK examination" held in the autumn for full-time working professionals pursuing MBA degrees, the English exam in the written subjects was organized and set by the National Center for Postgraduate Education Development. The Comprehensive Ability Exam mainly tests candidates' basic mathematical knowledge required for MBA courses, their ability to use mathematical methods to analyze and solve problems, logical reasoning skills, and Chinese language proficiency. The Comprehensive Ability Exam includes 4 types of question formats: Problem Solving, Sufficiency of Condition Judgment, Logical Reasoning, and Writing. The Problem Solving and Sufficiency of Condition Judgment formats involve elementary mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory, but they differ from typical mathematics exams. To reduce candidates' preparation workload and benefit full-time working candidates, the syllabus for the Comprehensive Ability Exam does not require a systematic examination of mathematical knowledge but selects several necessary knowledge points for assessment. In accordance with the requirements of the 2006 MBA entrance examination syllabus, the National Center for Business Administration Entrance Examination Research organized the compilation of this "2006 MBA Entrance Examination Guidance Textbook." As a pre-examination guidance textbook, the content of this book strives to be concise and accurate, reflecting the requirements of the 2006 MBA entrance examination syllabus and catering to the needs of candidates preparing for the exam. Some exercises and mock exam questions in the textbook have also been adjusted based on the changes in content and difficulty of the newly revised exam syllabus.
