Features: People's desires surge in the ordinary life, but in the world of unrestrained desires, there is also true affection, and there is a longing for people's inner desires to meet at the height of the spirit. However, we still truly hear a sigh from the depths of desire. A Riot of Remnants is an egg laid in a world of overflowing desires. Feng Shiguang is a middle-aged man with strong power and sexual desires. When his career is thriving, his mistresses, Shuna and Wang Yunli, leave him. Shuna, in secret, runs away with another lover, carrying a large sum of money, to live a utopian life in Lijiang, pursued by the police; Wang Yunli, tired of Feng Shiguang treating her as a call girl, quickly marries a man eight years younger than herself. Meanwhile, Feng Shiguang's wife, Xia Mei, who has always been ignored by him, becomes increasingly prominent in his heart—like Hillary in the indispensable role she plays in the political and social life of Bill Clinton, she returns to his heart. Another middle-aged man, Bai Qiang, who engages in painting art, becomes indifferent to material desires when his financial needs are met. Even when faced with his beautiful and intelligent wife, who many envy, he remains unmoved. The decline of his physiological functions suddenly makes him pursue the upright and lofty world of the spirit—he becomes a monk.
