Features: The preliminary work of compiling the "Chronology of Luo Ronghuan" was carried out concurrently with the writing of "The Biography of Luo Ronghuan" and began as early as 1980. At that time, Comrade Li Jijing wrote a "Chronological Record" of 50,000 words. After the publication of "The Biography of Luo Ronghuan," Comrade Wang Hong expanded the "Chronological Record" on the basis of the original, incorporating all the materials from "The Biography of Luo Ronghuan" to create a nearly 100,000-word "Chronology." The "Chronology of Nie Rongzheng" began collecting materials in 1983. An initial draft of 180,000 words was published in "Military History Materials" in 1988. Based on extensive feedback from various parties, the writing team for the "Chronology of Nie Rongzheng" was officially established in 1995, further collecting materials and commencing the writing process.
